Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects, from conceptual design through to construction administration.
- Utilize advanced software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D to create detailed plans and models.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with contractors to ensure quality control and compliance with local building codes.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, and municipal stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, feasibility studies, and permit applications.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required (New York State).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in civil design and infrastructure project management.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation).
- Strong understanding of local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and construction standards.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical data to non-technical audiences.
