What You Will Do
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and simulation of high-voltage power distribution systems using industry-standard software such as ETAP and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Conduct thorough load calculations, short-circuit studies, and arc-flash hazard analyses to ensure system safety and compliance.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle from concept through commissioning, ensuring all deliverables meet IEEE and NEC standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including civil engineers, project managers, and clients to define technical requirements and solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications, construction drawings, and documentation for bid packages.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field required; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical power systems design and analysis.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) License is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, ETAP, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Soft Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
