Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of complex civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.Conduct thorough site inspections and feasibility studies to ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and government agencies.Prepare detailed technical drawings, reports, and cost estimates using industry-standard software.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and staff.Ensure all designs adhere to safety standards and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in civil design and project management.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.Strong knowledge of NYC Building Codes and local zoning laws.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
