Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including site grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and coordinate with subcontractors and government agencies.
- Develop and review construction documents for compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in civil design and project management within the construction industry.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly required.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of NYC Building Codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to clients and stakeholders.
