We are seeking a visionary Senior Civil Engineer to join our elite team in New York City. As a key member of our engineering division, you will bridge the gap between conceptual design and on-site execution, ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead the design and management of civil engineering projects, including roadways, drainage systems, and site grading.
- Site Supervision: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure strict adherence to architectural plans and safety regulations.
- Compliance & Codes: Ensure all designs and construction activities comply with local, state, and federal building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, surveyors, and contractors to resolve technical challenges and optimize project workflows.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, technical specifications, and cost estimates for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or a related field.
- Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil design or construction management within the New York metropolitan area.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar BIM software.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to lead diverse teams effectively.
