Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for commercial and residential projects, utilizing advanced CAD and BIM software.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery within regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and surveyors.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Ensure strict adherence to UK building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- MEng or BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
- Chartered status (MICE or CEng) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in UK civil engineering projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project is essential.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning laws, Building Regulations, and CDM regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid UK driving license.
