Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct thorough site inspections, surveys, and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and environmental impact.
- Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents using advanced CAD and BIM software.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve design challenges and optimize project outcomes.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and proposals to clients and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of California is required.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering and construction management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Superior communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
