Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and prepare detailed technical reports and feasibility studies.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations (HSE) and building codes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and contractors.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and graduates.
- Review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical data to stakeholders.
- Valid UK driving license.
