Responsibilities
- Direct the design and implementation of large-scale residential, commercial, and municipal land development projects.
- Lead the preparation of comprehensive site layouts, grading plans, utility designs, and erosion control measures.
- Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic modeling to ensure robust stormwater management solutions.
- Navigate and secure complex permits through local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and municipal officials.
- Mentor junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical growth and professional development.
- Oversee construction administration services, ensuring projects are built according to precise specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months).
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in land development and civil site design.
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Stormwater Modeling software.
- Proven track record of managing project budgets, timelines, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and technical reporting.
