Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and site analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads.
- Ensure project compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and environmental standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with sub-consultants and contractors.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communication throughout the lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits to perform inspections and solve field-related design challenges.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and permit applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.S.C.E) from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas required.
- 7+ years of experience in site development, grading, drainage, and utility design.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Thorough knowledge of local Houston municipal codes and zoning ordinances.
