Responsibilities
- Direct the preparation of comprehensive site plans, grading plans, and utility designs for large-scale urban developments.
- Lead complex hydrological and hydraulic modeling for advanced stormwater management systems.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from initial feasibility studies through final construction administration.
- Act as the primary technical liaison with municipal agencies and stakeholders to secure entitlements and permits.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and multi-disciplinary team coordination.
- Mentor junior engineering staff, ensuring high standards of technical accuracy and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain via comity).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience specifically in land development and site civil engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology software suites.
- Proven track record of managing project financials and maintaining high-value client relationships.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
