Responsibilities
- Lead the full-cycle design and management of large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use land development projects.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and municipal regulatory agencies.
- Oversee the preparation of intricate site plans, grading plans, and utility profiles using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Conduct comprehensive hydrology and hydraulic modeling for advanced stormwater management systems.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time and under-budget delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and EITs, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.
- Drive the permitting process through various local and state entities, ensuring 100% regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Texas, or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil site design and land development.
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and StormCAD.
- Strong understanding of Houston-area drainage criteria and TCEQ regulations.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary project teams and high-value client accounts.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting and public presentations.
