Summit Peak Infrastructure Group is seeking a visionary Senior Civil Engineer to join our premier Land Development team in Denver. We specialize in transforming complex landscapes into sustainable, high-value residential and commercial environments. You will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of site development projectsāfrom initial feasibility studies and conceptual design through to final construction administration. Responsibilities
- Lead the design and management of complex land development projects, ensuring all technical deliverables meet rigorous quality standards.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed site layouts, grading plans, utility designs, and advanced stormwater management systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders throughout the permitting and entitlement process.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and staff engineers to foster professional growth within the team.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and profitable project delivery.
- Conduct thorough QA/QC reviews of design calculations, reports, and construction documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Colorado (or ability to obtain via comity within 6 months).
- Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in land development and site civil engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for surfaces, pipe networks, and corridor modeling.
- Proven track record of navigating municipal permitting processes and public hearings in the Front Range area.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
