Apex Infrastructure Group is seeking a visionary Senior Civil Engineer to join our premier Land Development team in Houston, Texas. In this high-impact role, you will lead the design and execution of large-scale residential, commercial, and industrial projects that define the region's urban landscape. Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and modeling of site layouts, grading plans, and utility systems using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Direct the preparation of comprehensive hydrologic and hydraulic studies to ensure effective storm water management.
- Manage full project lifecycles, including scoping, budgeting, and ensuring all deliverables meet strict quality and timeline standards.
- Navigate complex regulatory landscapes to secure necessary permits from municipal and state agencies (TxDOT, City of Houston, etc.).
- Serve as the primary technical consultant for high-profile clients, fostering long-term professional relationships.
- Mentor and develop junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical rigor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas (or immediate eligibility via reciprocity).
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience specifically within land development or municipal infrastructure.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and Bluebeam Revu.
- Strong understanding of local drainage criteria and detention requirements in the Greater Houston area.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams.
