Responsibilities
- Lead Design & Analysis: Direct the architectural and structural design phases for bridges, transit systems, and municipal facilities.
- Project Management: Oversee project lifecycles from conceptualization through to construction administration, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Site Inspections: Conduct rigorous on-site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and engineering specifications.
- Regulatory Compliance: Navigate complex permitting processes and liaise with city officials, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.
- Technical Innovation: Implement cutting-edge design software (Civil 3D, Revit) to optimize project efficiency and sustainability.
- Client Relations: Present technical concepts and progress reports to clients and investors with clarity and confidence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or Master’s degree preferred.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license required in the state of California.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in civil infrastructure or structural engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation is mandatory.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical data for diverse audiences.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and mentor junior engineers.
