As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be the bridge between technical design and client vision. We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure and possesses a deep understanding of modern construction methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical supervision of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, and structural works.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D).
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and resolve on-site technical issues.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and project managers.
- Ensure all designs comply with UK building regulations, safety standards, and environmental laws.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our technical processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in civil engineering, preferably within the UK construction industry.
- Chartered status (ICE or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- BEng or MEng degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit) and CAD (AutoCAD) is essential.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and stakeholder management.
- Valid UK driving license.
