Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and planning of complex civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, and utilities.
- Conduct detailed site surveys, feasibility studies, and structural analysis to ensure project integrity.
- Ensure strict compliance with UK building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources in close collaboration with project managers and clients.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the wider design team.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports and present designs to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or a related field (MSc preferred).
- Chartered status (MICE/CEng) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in infrastructure design within the UK construction sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of UK construction regulations (Building Regulations, CDM Regulations) and HSE protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
