Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects, from initial feasibility studies and design to site supervision and final handover.
- Conduct thorough site surveys, geotechnical assessments, and structural analyses to ensure project integrity.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, surveyors, and architects, fostering a culture of safety and innovation.
- Ensure strict compliance with UK building regulations, safety standards (CDM Regulations), and environmental policies.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents using AutoCAD, Revit, or Civil 3D.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, and external agencies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record in infrastructure or transport projects.
- BEng (Hons) or MEng in Civil Engineering, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Chartered status (MICE or CEng) is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software (Civil 3D or similar).
- Strong understanding of UK construction codes, standards, and health & safety legislation.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
