Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including transportation, site development, and municipal infrastructure.
- Conduct thorough site investigations, topographical surveys, and feasibility studies to inform project planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and planners, to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and safety codes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in civil design and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Bentley OpenRoads is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical analysis, stormwater management, and traffic engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering projects on schedule.
