Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of civil engineering projects, from concept and feasibility studies to final design and construction supervision.
- Conduct thorough site surveys, soil analysis, and feasibility assessments to determine project parameters.
- Prepare and review detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction plans using industry-standard software.
- Ensure strict adherence to local building codes, safety regulations (HSE), and environmental standards.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, surveyors, and contractors, to ensure seamless integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the design team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (MEng preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in civil engineering, preferably within the UK construction sector.
- Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Eurocodes, and health and safety legislation.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Valid UK driving license.
