Responsibilities
- Design and oversee execution of large-scale transportation and municipal infrastructure projects
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycle from concept to completion
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT standards, local codes, and sustainability protocols
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications for major infrastructure initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and implement advanced BIM/CAD workflows
- Develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE license required
- 8+ years of experience in transportation/municipal infrastructure projects
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record leading projects >$50M in value
- Familiarity with TxDOT design standards and permitting processes
- Strong analytical skills for complex geotechnical and structural analysis
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) preferred
- Experience with sustainable infrastructure and LEED certification
