Responsibilities
- Lead Design & Supervision: Oversee the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects, from initial site analysis and structural design to final construction supervision and closeout.
- Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Technical Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local, state, and federal building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and government officials, fostering strong professional relationships.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous site inspections and quality control reviews to maintain the highest standards of safety and structural integrity.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering reports, calculations, blueprints, and technical specifications using advanced CAD software.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in California is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure, construction management, or site development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex engineering challenges and provide innovative solutions.
