Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, and construction managers
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TCEQ, FTA, FHWA)
- Develop detailed engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM software
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical analyses
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and project management software
- Demonstrated experience with complex transportation or water resource projects
- Strong knowledge of TCEQ permitting processes and FEMA floodplain regulations
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
