Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex civil engineering projects, including site grading, drainage, and utilities.
- Oversee project lifecycle from initial feasibility studies to final permitting and construction administration.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance on design standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including urban planners, environmental consultants, and regulatory agencies.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare and review technical reports, construction specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Represent the company in client meetings and public hearings regarding infrastructure impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current PE license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain reciprocity).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in land development or municipal infrastructure projects.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and stormwater modeling software.
- Deep understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of managing project teams and delivering high-stakes engineering solutions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a commitment to sustainable design practices.
