Responsibilities
- Design and oversee execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through all project phases from conceptualization to final delivery
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including TCEQ standards
- Utilize BIM/CIM technologies for advanced project modeling and analysis
- Manage project budgets exceeding $50M with rigorous cost control methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for quality assurance
- Develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical and structural challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Texas with 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Proven expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydrological modeling software
- Strong background in transportation or water resource engineering
- Demonstrated success in managing multi-million dollar infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with FTA and TxDOT funding requirements
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to municipal boards
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
