Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle design of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including site development, drainage, and utility systems.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and technical resources to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and oversee the preparation of detailed construction documents.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering staff.
- Oversee on-site inspections to ensure full compliance with engineering design specifications and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in land development or public infrastructure.
- Expertise in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and HEC-RAS software suites.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulatory permitting processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
