Responsibilities
- Lead the design and planning of complex civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Manage site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
- Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and detailed structural analysis to optimize project designs.
- Ensure strict compliance with UK building regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental laws.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and project updates.
- Mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports, tender documents, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- BEng (Hons) or MEng in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered status (ICE) or working towards chartership is highly desirable.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in civil engineering project management and design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of UK construction codes, Eurocodes, and local planning policies.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites across London.
