Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of municipal infrastructure systems (water, wastewater, transportation)
- Lead project teams through all phases: planning, design, permitting, and construction
- Perform hydraulic modeling and structural analysis using industry-standard software
- Ensure compliance with TCEQ regulations and ADA accessibility standards
- Manage project budgets exceeding $5M with 98% on-time delivery rate
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical assessments
- Develop sustainable stormwater management solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of experience in transportation or municipal projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Strong understanding of TxDOT design standards and permitting processes
- Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience with federal grant applications (FTA, FHWA)
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
