Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual and detailed design of complex civil infrastructure projects.
- Manage project lifecycles from preliminary feasibility studies through construction administration.
- Perform advanced structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams of architects and planners.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and environmental regulations.
- Review and approve technical reports, site plans, and permit applications for high-stakes municipal projects.
- Conduct on-site inspections to oversee quality control and project schedule adherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; Master's preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in infrastructure development or municipal engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and Bluebeam.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar capital improvement projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead client-facing negotiations and stakeholder meetings.
- Deep understanding of sustainable design practices and LEED certification standards.
