Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure, including roadways, drainage, and utility networks.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure adherence to client expectations.
- Conduct site investigations and evaluate technical data to ensure project safety and feasibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and municipal authorities.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering staff and project interns.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum 6+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD software packages.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Strong technical communication skills with the ability to lead client-facing presentations.
- Deep understanding of municipal permitting processes and public agency coordination.
