Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex land development and infrastructure projects.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles from preliminary concept to final construction phase.
- Coordinate seamlessly with municipal agencies, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Review engineering calculations, specifications, and CAD drawings for accuracy and compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in technical documentation.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet rigorous safety and environmental quality standards.
- Provide expert technical consulting during onsite construction phases to ensure design intent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in site development and municipal engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of local Austin municipal codes, zoning regulations, and drainage criteria.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
