Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of large-scale civil infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Oversee site planning, grading, drainage, and utility design documentation.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Collaborate with municipal agencies to secure necessary permits and ensure code compliance.
- Mentor and review work performed by junior engineers and design staff.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure construction quality adheres to engineered specifications.
- Utilize advanced CAD/BIM software to create precise, high-performance construction plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in land development or public works infrastructure.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and stormwater management modeling.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary project teams and client relationships.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex regulatory requirements and permitting processes.
