Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex civil engineering projects including site development, grading, and drainage.
- Manage project lifecycles from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to ensure project compliance with local regulations.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, clients, and internal teams to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation to ensure high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software tools.
- Oversee contractor activities on-site to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in civil site design and land development.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, and HEC-RAS is essential.
- Strong understanding of local zoning, drainage codes, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent the company in client-facing meetings.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary project teams.
