Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of large-scale civil infrastructure, including roadways, drainage, and utility systems.
- Manage project lifecycles from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and oversee technical report generation.
- Coordinate seamlessly with clients, municipal agencies, and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and review design plans to ensure strict adherence to quality and safety codes.
- Ensure project compliance with environmental, zoning, and local permitting regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in civil site design and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, and Bluebeam.
- Strong understanding of local Colorado land development codes and permitting processes.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines.
