Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of large-scale civil infrastructure projects, including site grading, drainage, and utility systems.
- Manage project lifecycles from feasibility studies and conceptual design through to final construction administration.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including environmental consultants, urban planners, and architectural designers.
- Review and stamp engineering plans and reports to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
- Communicate project milestones and technical constraints effectively to stakeholders and clients.
- Conduct site investigations and perform technical analysis to optimize design solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and storm-water modeling software.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Deep understanding of local Denver/Colorado zoning and building codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, results-oriented mindset.
