Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of civil infrastructure projects (transportation, water systems, urban development)
- Perform complex structural analysis and geotechnical evaluations using industry-standard software
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multiple concurrent projects
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, environmental specialists, and government agencies
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT standards, FEMA regulations, and local municipal codes
- Develop detailed construction documentation and quality control protocols
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and professional guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with infrastructure projects
- Active PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale transportation or municipal projects
- Strong knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification
- Excellent project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Exceptional communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
