Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of civil engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.
- Design & Analysis: Develop complex structural designs and perform thorough geotechnical and structural analysis using advanced CAD and BIM software.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and construction practices adhere to local, regional, and national building codes and environmental regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and government bodies, presenting technical proposals and progress reports with confidence.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers and graduates, fostering a collaborative and high-performance engineering environment.
- Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve on-site engineering challenges, and ensure quality control.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree (BEng) or Master’s degree (MEng) in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Credentials: Professional registration (e.g., Chartered Engineer status with ICE, IStructE, or CIHT) is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record in infrastructure projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex engineering problems under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
