Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies
- Develop detailed construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Implement sustainable design practices and LEED certification standards
- Review and approve contractor submissions and ensure quality control
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in civil infrastructure design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with TxDOT and FEMA compliance requirements
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles and structural analysis
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience with sustainable infrastructure and green infrastructure systems
