Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of large-scale civil engineering projects including site grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure.
- Prepare and review detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for project stakeholders.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
- Coordinate with local government agencies, architects, and contractors to secure necessary permits and ensure code compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and engineering rigor.
- Conduct site visits to perform inspections, quality control, and solve on-site engineering obstacles in real-time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in civil engineering design and infrastructure project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software.
- Deep understanding of municipal standards, zoning regulations, and environmental compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to represent the firm in client meetings.
