Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, transit systems, and urban developments
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of architects, environmental specialists, and construction managers
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes, OSHA standards, and sustainability requirements
- Conduct site investigations, soil analysis, and structural feasibility studies
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using BIM technology
- Prepare technical documentation, permits, and regulatory submissions
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE license in New York State
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
- Experience with NYC DOB and DOT permitting processes
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical analysis and foundation design
- Proven track record of managing projects over $50M
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
