Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring strict adherence to engineering plans, blueprints, and BCA regulations.
- Technical Leadership: Conduct detailed site inspections and quality control checks to ensure the highest standards of safety and structural integrity.
- Design Collaboration: Work closely with architects and project managers to optimize designs for constructability and cost-efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet local building codes, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors, providing regular progress reports and technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent (e.g., P.Eng) is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector in Singapore.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or Primavera P6.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
