As a key member of our team, you will oversee the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects, from initial site analysis to final inspection.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the design and execution of municipal and commercial infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Design & Analysis: Utilize advanced CAD and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D) to create detailed engineering plans and calculations.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all designs adhere to local, state, and federal building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
- Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and safety protocols on active construction sites.
- Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, presenting technical data clearly and managing expectations.
- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation of project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure design.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Project.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex engineering challenges.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of drafting technical reports and presentations.
