Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of civil engineering projects, including feasibility studies, design, tendering, and construction supervision.
- Conduct detailed site inspections and quality control assessments to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Prepare and review complex technical drawings, blueprints, and reports using advanced CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D).
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
- Collaborate closely with architects, surveyors, contractors, and government agencies to resolve technical challenges.
- Ensure all designs adhere to local municipal bylaws, zoning laws, and environmental sustainability guidelines.
Qualifications
- Provincial Engineering License (P.Eng) or eligibility for licensure in Ontario.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering and project management.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MS Project).
- Strong technical knowledge of structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and construction materials.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
