Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project lifecycles from feasibility studies through construction oversight and final inspections
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, ADA)
- Develop cost estimates, schedules, and resource allocation plans for complex engineering initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews of technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) from ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, SWMM) and geotechnical analysis
- Proven track record of managing budgets exceeding $10M and teams of 10+ engineers
- Strong proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and construction management software
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
