Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical engineering design for complex land development, municipal infrastructure, and utility networks.
  • Direct and mentor a dedicated team of junior engineers, designers, and CAD technicians to foster professional growth.
  • Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D to oversee and review high-precision construction plans, site grading profiles, and alignment designs.
  • Serve as the primary client advocate and technical representative in stakeholder meetings, zoning boards, and public hearings.
  • Formulate comprehensive stormwater management plans, incorporating advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
  • Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure ultimate client satisfaction and project profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) License in Colorado, or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months.
  • 6+ years of progressive hands-on experience in civil site design, grading, and land development.
  • Advanced, expert-level proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or similar industry-standard design tools.
  • Proven track record of successfully navigating municipal permitting, rezoning, and entitlement processes in Colorado.
