Are you an ambitious Civil Engineer ready to shape the physical landscape of Colorado? Apex Infrastructure Group is seeking a high-caliber Senior Civil Engineer to lead marquee land development and public infrastructure projects in our rapidly growing Denver office.
In this role, you will transition complex concepts into reality, guiding multidisciplinary teams through the lifecycle of premier site design, grading, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure initiatives. Responsibilities
- Lead the technical engineering design for complex land development, municipal infrastructure, and utility networks.
- Direct and mentor a dedicated team of junior engineers, designers, and CAD technicians to foster professional growth.
- Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D to oversee and review high-precision construction plans, site grading profiles, and alignment designs.
- Serve as the primary client advocate and technical representative in stakeholder meetings, zoning boards, and public hearings.
- Formulate comprehensive stormwater management plans, incorporating advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
- Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure ultimate client satisfaction and project profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) License in Colorado, or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months.
- 6+ years of progressive hands-on experience in civil site design, grading, and land development.
- Advanced, expert-level proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or similar industry-standard design tools.
- Proven track record of successfully navigating municipal permitting, rezoning, and entitlement processes in Colorado.
- Superior communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to cultivate high-value client relationships.
