Responsibilities
- Lead the design and management of large-scale residential, commercial, and municipal infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, and paving using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure high-margin delivery and client satisfaction.
- Navigate complex regulatory landscapes, securing permits and approvals from city, county, and state agencies.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison in stakeholder meetings, presenting solutions to clients and public officials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution; Master’s degree preferred.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months).
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil site design and land development.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, and HEC-RAS modeling software.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams on high-stakes infrastructure projects.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical data into actionable insights for non-technical clients.
