Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical development of complex municipal and commercial civil projects.
- Manage project lifecycles from preliminary feasibility studies through final construction documentation.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and oversee quality control for CAD/BIM outputs.
- Coordinate seamlessly with city planning departments, environmental agencies, and external stakeholders.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to ensure sustainable drainage solutions.
- Ensure all project designs adhere strictly to local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in land development or municipal infrastructure.
- Expert-level proficiency in Civil 3D, StormCAD, and HEC-RAS software suites.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of meeting budget and timeline constraints.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client-facing presentations.
