Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Perform complex site development engineering, including grading, drainage, and utility layout.
- Lead and mentor junior engineering staff to ensure technical excellence and professional growth.
- Prepare and review technical reports, construction specifications, and permit submittals.
- Coordinate seamlessly with municipal agencies, clients, and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Implement sustainable design practices to meet LEED or Envision certification standards.
- Ensure project deliverables strictly adhere to state and local engineering codes and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the State of Texas or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in land development or infrastructure projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.
- Strong background in site planning, erosion control, and stormwater management systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent the firm in public and client-facing forums.
- Proven track record of managing project budgets and meeting strict delivery deadlines.
