Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex civil infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, surveyors, and environmental consultants.
- Ensure project compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and environmental regulations.
- Manage technical documentation, including site plans, drainage reports, and construction specifications.
- Conduct site visits to perform inspections and address field engineering challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their technical deliverables for quality and accuracy.
- Participate in client meetings and project presentations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- 5+ years of experience in municipal or commercial civil engineering design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and Bluebeam.
- Strong understanding of storm water management and utility design standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships.
- Proven ability to lead projects from conception through construction completion.
