Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and design phase for large-scale municipal and private infrastructure projects.
- Conduct advanced technical analysis, including site grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure planning.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate project workflows to ensure strict adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Liaise with local government bodies, stakeholders, and clients to secure project approvals and ensure permit compliance.
- Perform rigorous quality control audits on construction documents and technical specifications.
- Oversee on-site progress inspections to ensure design intent is meticulously executed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in land development or public works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and stormwater modeling software.
- Proven track record of managing complex project budgets and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client-facing presentations.
- Deep understanding of local building codes and environmental regulations.
